Built Inside a Lumberyard. It Turns Out the Problem Isn't Just Lumber.

This platform started inside a Michigan lumberyard, and that's still true — it's tested against real estimates, real purchase orders, and real trucks leaving a real yard every day. But the actual problem it solves was never really about lumber.

The problem is this: you sell physical material to contractors on negotiated or contract pricing, not fixed retail. You're too big to run on spreadsheets and too small to justify a six-figure ERP built for national chains. You're committed to QuickBooks, because ripping out your accounting was never on the table. And the tools built for your size either stop at the estimate — a generic CRM — or were never built for a distributor's shape at all.

That describes a lot more than lumberyards. It describes electrical supply houses, plumbing and HVAC distributors, roofing suppliers, concrete and aggregate yards, masonry and stone yards, landscape and hardscape suppliers, flooring distributors, and fence suppliers — anywhere the business is estimate, order, purchase, receive, deliver, invoice, on repeat, for contractors instead of walk-in retail.

We're not going to pretend we've proven this in every one of those categories yet — today, this has been built and hardened inside a lumberyard, on QuickBooks Desktop specifically. But the shape of the problem is the same regardless of what's on the truck, and that shape is what the platform was actually built around.
